Fresh water has algae and dirt that will cause a buildup in your engine parts, which may eventually cause a decline in performance of the motor. Now, as though fresh water isn’t bad enough, beware to those of you who use your jet ski or waverunner in salt water. If you are using your new or used jet ski motor in salt water, flushing the motor with clean fresh water after every use is a must!
